Following a review of the Recreation Ground Usage and Access Policy at its August 2026 meeting, the Parish Council has introduced a prohibition on the use of BBQs, firepits, chimineas, and any other flame‑generating or heat‑producing equipment on all Parish Council‑managed land.
This restriction applies at all times, unless prior written authorisation has been granted by the Parish Council.
This measure has been adopted to support public safety, reduce fire risk, and protect the Recreation Ground and surrounding environment.
